A teen slammed into a utility pole in his mother's car in Clayton, North Carolina. The accident took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Josephine Road. The utility pole was knocked over, and troopers say that the 14-year-old boy driving the car succumbed to minor injuries and was sent to a Clayton hospital. Authorities say alcohol wasn't a factor in the crash, but the State Highway Patrol is planning to seek charges because of the driver's age. Nearby roads have been blocked off while Duke Energy replaces the pole.

Beloit police stated officers responded to a report of a theft of a car at a gas station on the 2700 block of Milwaukee Road at 5:53 p.m. An 8-year-old child escaped the car when it was stolen, but a 10-month-old baby was still inside. At 6 p.m., Beloit officers and Rock County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a car crash on the 2700 block of County Road S in the town of Turtle. The stolen car was found crashed into a machine shed behind a home. Police said neighbors were able to enter the shed and get the baby out.

Beloit police officers claim that they responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at a gas station on the 2700 block of Milwaukee Road at 5:53 p.m. When the car was stolen, an 8-year-old occupant escaped the vehicle, but a 10-month-old baby was remained within. At 6 p.m., officers and deputies from both the Beloit police and Rock County sheriff responded to a reported car accident on the 2700 block of County Road S in the town of Turtle. Police state that the reported vehicle in the crash was the stolen car with the baby inside.
