A Hayward motorcyclist is the victim of a hit-and-run collision with an SUV that caused him to fall dozens of feet to his death Thursday near the intersection of Highways 101 and Highway 92. The hit-and-run vehicle is described as a green Jeep or similar SUV. Larry Chris Pack was traveling south on Highway 10 at about 5:50 p.m. when the SUV changed lanes and collided with Pack's Harley-Davidson. That crash propelled the motorcycle into a side railing, and threw the rider off the overcrossing. He fell at least 80 feet to his death.
