 A 75 year old man, David Brenchley, was killed after losing control of his vehicle and rolling on Highway 395 Friday afternoon. Brenchley was driving south on Highway 395 near Ritzville with four kids in the car, ages 10 to 11 when the crash happened. According to troopers, Brenchley drifted into the median, tried to overcorrect and rolled the car. The four kids were taken to an Adams County hospital for their injuries and Brenchley died at the scene. The four kids were treated, then released and are predicted to be fine.

At about 9:00 am, Dempewolf was traveling east on Highway 12 when he veered off the right shoulder, overcorrected, and veered off the left shoulder before finally striking a rock. Dempewolf was hurt and taken to the hospital, though further details on his condition weren't available. The crash was likely simply caused by inattentive driving according to authorities, and Dempewolf will probably not be cited.

The Iowa State Patrol says a teenager from Sac County has been killed in a head-on car crash with a recreational vehicle. The patrol reports the crash occurred Tuesday on Highway 71, south of Early. Authorities say 16-year-old Coral Deal died after driving off the road and then overcorrecting. They say the teen’s Pontiac Vibe crossed the center line and hit a Fleetwood RV driven by a 71-year-old Texas man. The car was crushed under the RV’s front wheels. The man wasn’t injured. The patrol is investigating.

A Pueblo West man was killed in a crash in Fremont County on Thursday. The crash happened on Hwy 50, about seven miles east of Cañon City, around 11 a.m. The Colorado State Patrol says 78-year-old Walter Giffin overcorrected his car, causing it to rollover. Giffin was killed. The crash is still under investigation, but troopers don't believe alcohol or speed were factors in the crash.
