Lexington, KYTaylor Woods of Waynesburg was killed Friday evening when a car, driven by Justin Denson, 31, crossed over the center line of KY 837 and crashed head-on into Woods' motorcycle. in Casey County, Kentucky which occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Friday on Highway 837 east of Liberty. Woods was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene. Denson, of Liberty, was airlifted to UK Hospital in Lexington with unknown injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Louisville, KYJessica Hartsfield was hit head-on by a truck at around 8:30 p.m. while trying to turn left from Middle Road onto Allison Lane. Officers are interviewing witnesses to determine who had the right-of-way at the traffic light. Hartsfield was rushed to University of Louisville Hospital where she died. No one in the truck was injured. It is not believed that Hartsifled was weaing a helmet.
