Detroit, MIRobin Bissett of Deckerville was driving southbound on Van Dyke Road just north of Linck Road in Burnside Township, near Brown City, when a strong wind coming from an open field pushed her pickup truck across the road and into oncoming traffic, where she was hit head-on by a box truck. Her truck landed in a ditch on the west side of the road, and the box truck landed in a west side ditch. Bissett was taken to McLaren Lapeer Regional Medical Center, where she died at 6:50 p.m. that day, police said.
