Washington, DCAmy Riggs was driving a grey Subaru east on Darnestown road when a Ford F-250 crossed the centerline and struck Rigss' vehicle head-on. The F-250 rolled several times and hit a Kia Sorento before coming to a stop. Riggs sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of F-250, Kenneth Bynaker Jr., suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Sorento, Christine Goldstein, was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Baltimore, MDA double fatal accident happened Monday night in Davidsonville around 8:42 p.m. when two vehicles crashed head-on in the 400 block of Central Avenue West near Beards Point Road. A black Audi TT was traveling westbound Central Avenue when it crossed the centerline and crashed with a silver Toyota Yaris. Marie Elaine Higgs, 60, the driver of the Yaris, was declared deceased at the site. Nicholas Anthony Cassidy, 22, driver of the Audi, was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis where he later died from his injuries.

Washington, DCMontgomery County Police say a woman was killed in a car accident on Laytonsville Road on Monday morning. Police say the crash was first reported at approximately 5:29 a.m. Monday in the 4600 block of Laytonsville Road, when a pick-up truck and an SUV collided head-on, and at least one person was trapped in the crash.

Washington, DCMaryland State Police say a Pennsylvania man has died after a car traveling the wrong way on Interstate 70 hit a pickup truck head-on.
Police say a Pontiac Bonneville was traveling westbound in eastbound lanes of I-70 near Hancock on Sunday night when it collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver of the Pontiac, 50-year-old Larry Allen Martz of Mayport, Pa., was flown to Meritus Medical Center, where police say he was later pronounced dead.
The three people in the truck were treated on the scene and released.

Washington, DCMontgomery County police detectives are investigating a fatal collision on Old Columbia Pike early Saturday morning.
According to police, they were called to a collision at 2:40 a.m. When they arrived, they found a red 2003 Infiniti G35 and a gray 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe in a head-on collision.
Police say the Chevrolet Tahoe was driving south when the Infiniti, which was traveling north, crossed the center line into southbound traffic. The two cars collided head-on in the southbound lanes.
