Raleigh-Durham, NCLaura Lynne Smith, of Raleigh, was diving 74 in a 45 mph zone south on Creedmoor Road when she lost control of her SUV struck a speed limit sign, rolled over, and hit four trees. Her son, Antony Smith, was pronounced dead at the scene. Smith's blood-alcohol content was allegedly .32, which is four times more than North Carolina's legal limit.
