A 47-year-old woman was apparently not in a marked crosswalk when she was attempting to cross Pontiac Trail at about 10:40 p.m. and was hit by a white Pontiac G8. The car then drove away, leaving the woman at the scene with critical injuries. She remains in critical condition in the hospital after multiple surgeries. We will update this accident as more information becomes available.
