Tuesday, April 7, 2015An Anderson County deputy spotted a stolen vehicle on Highway 28 at around 1:45 p.m. and began to pursue it. The driver of the stolen vehicle was able to successfully force the deputy off the road during the pursuit, causing the deputy to crash into an embankment. The suspect continued from there until crashing into a home on Boston Drive. The incident is still under investigation. Both the officer and the suspect were taken to a hospital for an evaluation.

Friday, April 18, 2014The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says one of its deputies has been involved in a wreck. They say a deputy was driving a patrol car and had a reserve officer with him when the vehicle collided with a pickup truck just before midnight Saturday morning on Clemson Boulevard in front of Tucker's Restaurant.
According to investigators the pickup was traveling in the opposite direction as the patrol car.
