Monday, December 2, 2013An 83-year-old woman died hours after a car accident Tuesday afternoon, according to the Anderson County Coroner.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 12:50 p.m. on Broadway Lake Road in Anderson County.
McCown identified the deceased as Mary Eola Kruger, 83, of Anderson.
According to McCown, Kruger was pulling out of her driveway on Broadway Lake Road when she drove into the path of an oncoming pickup truck.
The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured, said McCown.
