It was approximately 3:50 p.m. when 30-year-old Floridalma Ramos Morales was driving a car north on U.S. 31, and collided head-on with a pickup truck. Morales' son, identified as Darwin Sarceno, 4, was not properly buckled in and was thrown from the vehicle. Both him and his mother have been pronounced dead. A 1-year-old, 5-year-old, 12-year-old, and woman that were in the pickup truck were transported to various hospitals with potentially critical injuries. A one-car accident Saturday killed a teen couple and injured two other people at around 10 a.m. Allison B. McKinley, 17, sustained critical injuries when the 2013 Nissan Maxima she was riding in veered off the roadway, and hit a utility sign and then a utility pole. The accident happened on U.S. 31 at the 31.1 mile marker, nine miles north of Bay Minette. McKinley was ejected from the car and sent to North Baldwin Infirmary, where she subsequently died. The man driving, 24-year-old Justin J. Jordan of Monroeville, was sent to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for treatment.
