Roy Robinson, 66, is dead in Henderson after a single-vehicle crash Monday morning after his car appeared to cross over the center median, where he crashed into a tree near St. Rose Parkway and Seven Hills Drive. Authorities believe he may have suffered from a medical episode shortly before the crash. 

A woman and her 6-year-old son were identified Sunday as the victims who died in a two-vehicle crash near on ic-slick Hwy. 212 in Carver County. Three other people were hurt but are expected to survive. The accident happened at 1:50 p.m. Saturday and involved a vehicle driving east that spun out and into the path of a pickup truck heading the opposite direction. Killed were two passengers in the car: Angelica Salas, 29, of Lester Prairie, Minn., and 6-year-old son Jorge E. Salas.

One person is injured after a Tuesday crash in Canoga Park, California that began as a pursuit of a driver suspected of driving under the influence of narcotics. The accident occured on the 8700 block of Mason Avenue. Details concerning the victim's condition and identity were not immediately available. 

Hanover Central Middle School student Jeffrey Bellinger, 13, was walking along the side of a set of CSX railroad tracks Tuesday afternoon when he was hit from behind by a freight train that was unable to stop. The accident occurred about 200 feet north of the 137th Avenue crossing in Cedar Lake, where Bellinger was pronounced dead at the scene.

Carlton was driving on I-64 near Airport Drive at about 5:52am when she for some reason slammed into the guardrail before getting struck by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Joseph Huggins, 65, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but Carlton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

At 5:45 PM on September 30, 1955, 24-year-old actor James Dean is killed in Cholame, California, when the Porsche he is driving hits a Ford Tudor sedan at an intersection. The driver of the other car, 23-year-old California Polytechnic State University student Donald Turnupseed, was dazed but mostly uninjured; Dean’s passenger, German Porsche mechanic Rolf Wütherich was badly injured but survived.
