Police have identified the victims in the fatal crash on I-64 West.

State police said that a Hyundai was traveling westbound when the driver lost control, struck a guardrail and spun out. A 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck that was traveling behind the vehicle did not have time to stop and struck the sedan’s driver’s side door, according to troopers.
Carlton was driving on I-64 near Airport Drive at about 5:52am when she for some reason slammed into the guardrail before getting struck by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Joseph Huggins, 65, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but Carlton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
