The 19-year-old male driver of a BMW that crashed in Pierce County earlier this week, killing two young passengers, is expected to face charges of vehicular homicide Friday. Raymond Joseph Lewis III was the alleged driver of a car that fled a convenience store Wednesday after the car’s occupants allegedly stole beer and roughed up the clerk from a Chevron in the 7200 block of McKinley Avenue. Lewis allegedly fled at a high-rate of speed and crashed the car near East 64th and M streets early Wednesday.

A man driving a motorcycle was killed in a three-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in the 12700 block of Smokey Point Boulevard, officials said. Police didn't release the man's name, pending notification of his family. His age and hometown were not immediately available. He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but died within hours of the crash. The accident occurred shortly after noon. The motorcycle collided with a SUV and then a pickup truck travelling in the opposite direction, according to Marysville police report. A woman from Marysville was driving the SUV.

A Vancouver woman was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital after a one-car rollover crash on Interstate 5 Sunday afternoon, approximately three miles south of Napavine. Jerry E. Brower, 45, of Vancouver was driving a 2000 Ford Expedition southbound on Interstate 5 near Milepost 68 at 3:49 p.m. when the car traveling in front of him braked. Brower swerved to the right to avoid a collision, and the vehicle struck a ditch and rolled over. One of Brower's passengers, Madison Brower, 20, was transported to Providence, where she was treated and released.
