A man thought to be in his early 30's was apparently wearing headphones while he was walking along the train tracks near Roeder Avenue in Bellingham at about 4:00 p.m., as he made no reaction to an approaching train that blew its whistle several times. He was struck by the train and propelled off of the tracks, where police found him with alive with severe head injuries. However, shortly after he was tranpsorted to the hospital, the man was declared dead.
