Driver killed, dog injured when tractor trailer crashes on I-5 north of Canyonville, Oregon

William M. Steinbrook, 54, Adam W. Pennington, 43, killed, William Dean Penicks, 56, seriously injured, transported to hospital, after a tractor-trailer collides with another disabled tractor-trailer on the shoulder of northbound I-5 near Canyonville.

Oregon State Police released the names of two men killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Douglas County on Sunday.

The accident happened about 11 p.m. along the northbound shoulder of Interstate 5 about eight miles south of Canyonville, killing a roadside assistance mechanic and a passenger in a commercial truck.

Lt. Gregg Hastings, an OSP spokesman, said a disabled commercial truck pulling a semi-trailer was parked on the right northbound shoulder of I-5.
