Chicago, ILA car accident killed driver Devon Steele, 19, and critically injured two male passengers, ages 18 and 20. Thursday night in the South Deering neighborhood. Their vehicle collided with a fire hydrant and then crashed into the porch of a house in the 11600 block of South Torrence Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Steele was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The two passengers were transported in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Chicago, ILA man and five children were hurt in a single-vehicle crash Friday on the Far South Side.
A 2000 Ford Expedition was travelling west on 103rd Street about 9:50 a.m. when it turned right onto South Cottage Grove Avenue, lost control and hit a light pole, police said.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, and four girls–a 6-year-old, a 7-year-old and two 14-year-olds–were taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital in good condition, police said.
A 3-year-old girl was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
