San Diego, CADenise Marilyn Krausch, 61, was struck by several vehicles and killed while walking on Interstate 5 in Chula Vista on Monday night. Krausch walking on the shoulder of the freeway around 10:40 p.m., when she was struck by four vehicles in the slow lane of northbound I-5 at the J Street exit. All of the drivers stopped after the accident. It is not known yet why Krausch was walking on the freeway.

San Diego, CAA 29-year-old San Diego man was found dead early Monday after apparently crashing into some trees on an embankment behind a business off Interstate 5 in Chula Vista.
David Antonio Sanchez's car appeared to have veered off the southbound freeway and rolled down an embankment before slamming into the trees and damaging a chain link fence on the back side of an industrial complex at 1095 Bay Blvd., north of Palomar Street, according to police and the county Medical Examiner's Office.
