At about 8:02 a.m., 17-year-old Michael Baunsgard was eastbound on I-90 and trying to pass a semi-truck so that he could take Exit 85, but lost control of his vehicle. His car then went off the roadway and down the off-ramp embankment, and he was injured and brought to the hospital. His passenger Hunter Davey, 17, was not hurt.
It was about 2:00pm when Carriveau, who was driving east on I-90, veered off the roadway to the left, which caused the car to roll multiple times until it finally came to rest on its side in the median. He was injured in the crash and taken to Ellensburg Hospital, but has likely already been released as he was supposed to be transferred to Harborview Medical Center, but there was no record of him being there.
