A 17-year-old girl was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident on Route 26 in Eldersburg Thursday morning.

According to a Maryland State Police media release, a 2013 Honda Pilot driven by 55-year-old Union Bridge resident Carol Ellen Musil collided head on with a 2013 Mini Cooper driven by the teen about 8 a.m. in the area of Route 26 and Emerald Lane.
