Baltimore, MDCoulbourn was driving a car on Bethlehem Road when she drifted over the center line and sideswiped an oncoming bus on the rear of its driver's side, which caused it to roll onto its side. Coulbourn was declared dead at the scene of the accident, while Brittingham, who was the bus driver, his assistant, and five passengers on the bus were taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Washington, DCShane Beale was driving at around 10 p.m. near Aquasco and Horsehead roads when the driver of a pickup struck Beale’s car as the truck was making a right turn onto Aquasco Road. Beale was brought to the hospital with injuries that were believed to be non-life-threatening, but he later died from them on December 31. The driver of the pickup was also brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).

Washington, DCRonald Jerome Taylor, 46, of Silver Spring, was killed in a crash just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday, at Randolph Road and Hammonton Place in the county’s Colesville section. A 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra, driven by Taylor, was traveling west on Randolph when, for unknown reasons, the car crossed two lanes and collided with another Mustang that was heading the same direction. Taylor’s car then crossed back across the lanes, went onto the median, and hit trees. Taylor was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the other Mustang did not receive any injuries.

Baltimore, MDThe fatal collision happened on West Cold Spring Lane around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a 2007 Suzuki Forenza traveling westbound lost control, crossed into the eastbound lanes, and struck by an SUV traveling eastbound. The Suzuki’s driver, Idoreyin Montague, 30, was transported to Sinai Hospital where she died from her injuries just before midnight. The driver of the SUV was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Baltimore, MDA double fatal accident happened Monday night in Davidsonville around 8:42 p.m. when two vehicles crashed head-on in the 400 block of Central Avenue West near Beards Point Road. A black Audi TT was traveling westbound Central Avenue when it crossed the centerline and crashed with a silver Toyota Yaris. Marie Elaine Higgs, 60, the driver of the Yaris, was declared deceased at the site. Nicholas Anthony Cassidy, 22, driver of the Audi, was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis where he later died from his injuries.

Washington, DCA small, private jet has crashed into one house and set two others on fire in Gaithersburg, Maryland, a suburb of Washington D.C. in Montgomery County. At least three people on board the aircraft were killed. The fires have been contained, and crews are searching for anyone who may have been inside the homes at the time of the crash, which occurred shortly before 11 a.m.
