Indianapolis, INNiemeyer was driving his off road vehicle on his property when he lost control, causing it to flip and roll on top of him. He was not wearing a helmet or any other protective equipment, and his head and chest were injured. The crash is still under investigation.

Duluth, MN-Superior, WICasey M. Lantz was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was riding swerved into a ditch. Both Lantz and his passenger, Jessica C. Lantz, 32, were thrown from the motorcycle. Both were taken to a local hospital where Casey Lantz was declared dead, and Jessica Lantz was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.

Indianapolis, INOfficials say when Kendall Nicholson came upon stopped traffic he laid down his motorcycle, sliding under a 2004 Chevy Tahoe. Nicholson was wearing a helmet but speed was a contributing factor. The bike caught fire, though officials say the fire did not contribute to his death. Witnesses say Kendall Nicholson, 17, was weaving in and out of traffic just before the fatal crash.

Salt Lake City, UTAlan Heiner, 37, of Vernal died after his all-terrain vehicle rolled in the community of Maeser Saturday night. Heiner was thrown from the ATV as it rolled, and died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Speed is believed to have factored into the crash.

Fargo-Valley City, NDTwo men were seriously hurt Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle they were riding struck a curb in north Fargo and flipped in the air. The crash happened about 2 p.m. in the 2100 block of 10th Street North. The motorcycle then flipped, and both men were thrown to the ground.

Phoenix, AZThe man who died in an accident on the Loop 202 in central Phoenix Saturday has been identified. Frederick C. Manske was driving his three-wheel motorcycle westbound on the freeway near 24th Street when he hit the car in front of him that had slowed down.

Denver, COThe scooter driver was rushed to a local hospital but did not survive. He was not wearing a helmet. The truck driver was not injured. No citations have been issued, and the crash remains under investigation.
