Columbus, OHA woman has died after an early Saturday morning crash in west Columbus. It occured around 1:15 a.m. on Norton and Bausch Roads near Galloway. Columbus Police say a rolled over, killing the person inside. Police claim 29-year-old Leah D. Anthony died after she lost control of her Jeep, went into a field and rolled multiple times. Anthony was ejected from the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Columbus, OHAt about 3:25 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a crash on Norton Road at West Broad Street involving a car and a pedestrian. Authorities claim a 1998 Nissan Altima was driving eastbound on West Broad Street when it struck 35-year-old Freddy L. Jeffers Jr, of London. The car continued eastbound on Norton after striking Jeffers. Jeffers was sent to Doctor's West Hospital where he died approximately an hour later. The driver of the Nissan has been identified as Steven J. Mays, 31, of Hilliard. Mayes was charged with Hit-Skip, which is a 3rd degree felony, and sent to the Franklin County jail.
