Saturday, November 15, 2014Two vehicles were involved in a collision on US-225 in Greenwood at 7:25 p.m. Adam Rowell, 26, was the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet truck involved in the accident. Law enforcement officers said Rowell was not wearing a seat belt and was airlifted via LifeFlight to Greenville Memorial Hospital. The deceased victim is Jeremy Dean Cockrell, 27, of Chesterfield Court in Greenwood. Cockrell was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma.
