It was about 11:35pm when a car driven by a 17-year-old woman was heading south on U.S. 95 and veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a car driven by Larry Field, 35, in which two other men, ages 18 and 34, were passengers. The collision sent the 17-year-old's car off of the roadway where it rolled over, and Field was killed while the three other people involved were injured and airlifted to the hospital.

At around 7:45 a.m., a male driver was ejected from a Chevy pickup when it rolled east of U.S. 95 near the Lee Canyon Road turn-off. He died at the scene of the crash, but it is unclear if he died from the crash or a medical episode. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

A commercial vehicle accident spilled 500 gallons of ammonium nitrate fertilizer and killed the driver on U.S. Highway 95 near Lake Cocolalla in Idaho on Saturday. The highway was closed for nearly seven hours after the 1 p.m. crash. The driver, identified as 62-year-old John M. Moody, of Peck, Idaho, drifted off the roadway as he drove north, according to the Idaho State Police. His tractor-trailer overturned, causing the spill of liquid fertilizer.
