Theresa Pozzi was leaving the Curran Fromhold Correctional Facility after visiting her boyfriend and was on the way to a bus stop when she was struck by a truck taveling north on State Road. The driver of the truck did not stop or even hit their brakes, and the collision fatally injured Pozzi. She was transported to a local medical facility where she was pronounced dead. The vehicle that hit her is described as a late 80’s or early 90’s model dark-colored pickup or tow truck with a missing headlight. The accident is still under investigation.
