Philadelphia Police: ATV Driver Traveling In Wrong Direction Killed After Crashing Into Vehicle In Holmesburg

Police say the ATV was driving illegally in the wrong direction when it collided with a 2018 Kia Rio. A woman on the ATV died from her injuries. Police identified the woman as 29-year-old Victoria Rose Walker of Philadelphia.

When southbound traffic started approaching, she went in the northbound lane to avoid it. That's when police say she was struck by a Kia Rio sedan being driven by a 31-year-old man.

Police officers and medics found Victoria Rose Walker with severe head trauma on the ground near the crashed Yamaha ATV, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said. The 29-year-old Northeast Philadelphia woman would die about an hour later at the hospital.
