A woman floated out of her submerged car Thursday morning as it was pulled from Lake Houston nearly an hour after she plunged into the water, officials said. The incident occurred about 9 a.m. at the Duessen Park Boat Ramp, according to the Houston Fire Department. As the car was being towed from the water, the woman floated out a broken window, said a spokeswoman for the Harris County Sheriff's Office. She was gasping for air.
