An ambulance was called to the scene of an east side crash Thursday morning that involved a vehicle and an IndyGo bus. It happened in the area of 25th Street and East Ralston Avenue. Police say around 7:30 a.m., the bus and a Dodge Charger were both heading westbound on 25th Street. The driver of the Dodge told police he works overnight and was dozing off. Police say the driver hit the back of the bus without braking. The bus was stopped to pick someone up.

Only minor injuries were reported after a minivan and an Indianapolis Fire Department truck collided Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at West 24th Street and North Meridian Street around 9:15 a.m. According to fire officials, an IFD rescue squad had just finished a run, had its lights off, and was attempting to make a left hand turn to go north on Meridian Street. Two firefighters were on board the truck.

Shortly after 1 a.m. Friday, emergency crews were called to a crash at East 16th Street and North Delaware Street.

Firefighters say the driver, 22-year-old Justin Oliver, was trapped in his overturned Dodge Dakota. Once crews freed him from the wreckage, he was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition.

According to investigators Oliver was traveling north on Delaware Street and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle landed on its side just a few feet away from a building.

Officials say an ambulance was transporting one person to the hospital when it was T-boned by another vehicle. The crash occurred at 11th and Senate Thursday afternoon. At the time of the crash, the ambulance was transporting one person in cardiac arrest to the hospital. That patient did not survive. Officials say two firefighters, one medic, and one EMT were injured in the crash. Their injuries were not serious, but they were transported to Methodist Hospital.

Three people were taken to local hospitals Tuesday afternoon after two cars collided head-on. It happened around 2:30 p.m. at East Raymond Street and South Meridian Street, which is on the city’s south side. Indianapolis fire officials say a red pickup truck was driving west on East Raymond Street but was driving in the east lanes when it hit a Chevy Suburban. The passenger was initially trapped inside the Suburban. That person, and both drivers were taken to the hospital. Details on their injuries were not immediately released. IMPD was investigating the crash on Tuesday.

Three people were injured in a one-car accident overnight Saturday on the city's east side.

It happened around 1:15 a.m. near 38th Street and Emerson Avenue.

IMPD officials say a car with four occupants was driving west on 38th Street and for an unknown reason, lost control, struck a traffic light utility box and flipped onto a nearby gas station lot.

Indianapolis firefighters had to cut the top of the SUV off in order to pull one person out.

Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirm a school bus and a passenger vehicle were involved in a crash Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the Sam Jones Expressway and Bradbury Avenue. IMPD dispatchers confirm a vehicle hit the back of the school bus and then went underneath the bus. Officials say the driver of the car was trapped. No students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Three people were transported to area hospitals after the crash.

Police were looking for a vehicle after a person was taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning following a hit-and-run crash. Officers responded to the area of East 38th Street and Alsace Place around 7:40 a.m. This is just west of North Post Road. Police dispatchers say a person was hit by a vehicle that then left the scene. The vehicle is described as a blue-grey 90s type minivan. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on 38th Street from Alsace. Officers were out looking for the car Tuesday morning.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was investigating a serious crash on the city's northwest side on Friday morning where a person was hit by a vehicle that then left the scene. Around 7:30 a.m., police were called to the 7100 block of Crystal Bay Drive which is just east of Westlane and Michigan Road. Callers reported an unconscious person was lying in the middle of the street. Police confirm there was a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. Witnesses described a green minivan seen heading eastbound from the scene with damage to the windshield.

A 23-year-old man was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital early Saturday morning after being trapped inside of a car after it crashed. It happened around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Brookeville Road and South Post Road. Officials say the 1999 Black Chevy Equinox was driving east on Brookeville Road when the driver lost control of the car causing it to roll over. The driver was trapped inside for about 30 minutes. He was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation. Medics say he didn't complain of any pain and no serious injuries were found.
