One person was brought to the hospital around 2 a.m., after the individual driving a scooter was hit in the1800 block of Madison Avenue. Accodring to police, the person driving the scooter was rear-ended and thrown into the windshield of the vehicle. The victim was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition for mionr injuries from the incident.

A crash occured near Pendleton Pike and Sunnyside Road at 5:45 p.m. that caused a child to be hospitalized. Few details are available at this time. The child was transported to Riley hospital for Children at IU Health for treatment.

At about 6:59 a.m. Saturday morning, Indiana State Police and Indianapolis Fire Department were called to the scene of a crash. Police saw a vehicle on the southbound on-ramp of I-465 and West Washington Street when they arrived. Authorities state the driver of the car appeared to be distracted and driving on the shoulder of Washington St., when the car hit the guard rail. Police state the car immediately started spinning when it entered the on-ramp of I-465 south.
