Kansas City, MOAccording to authorities, the car crashed and burst into flames near the intersection of Scarritt and North Hardesty shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. There were three passengers inside the vehicle. Two managed to escape the burning vehicle but one died on site. There is currently no release on the identity of the victim or the other two people in the vehicle. Police believe that that speed was a factor in the crash.

Kansas City, MOA driver was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Intersate 435 when he collided head-on with a truck. The impact forced his Jeep into another lane, where it was struck again by a semi-trailer. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. No others were injured in the accident. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Brandon Didde.
