One person killed and two in critical condition after fiery car crash at intersection of Scarritt and North Hardesty in Kansas City, Missouri

Police are investigating after a car wreck and fire early Saturday morning left one person dead.
According to authorities, the car crashed and burst into flames near the intersection of Scarritt and North Hardesty shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. There were three passengers inside the vehicle. Two managed to escape the burning vehicle but one died on site. There is currently no release on the identity of the victim or the other two people in the vehicle. Police believe that that speed was a factor in the crash.
