A Las Vegas woman who died in a three-car wreck Sunday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office. A 17-year-old driver ran a red light and struck Nneka Geter-Easterling, 42, in her Mustang. The Mustang spun and collided with another car, according to police. Geter-Easterling died on the scene, and two teenage occupants in the Mustang were transported to University Medical Center with severe injuries. The drivers of the other cars were not injured. This is the eighth traffic fatality in Las Vegas police’s jurisdiction in 2014.

Metro police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that happened early Saturday morning near Oakey and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Police stated that Trenton Gleaton 21, was driving a 2014 Kawasaki sport motorcycle, when he failed to stay in his lane while going eastbound on Oakey approaching MLK.

The bike ran off the right side of the roadway onto the south sidewalk and continued eastbound, crashing into the base of a street light pole.

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car crash that left one person in critical condition and a suspect on the run Saturday evening. A N.H.P. trooper said the crash happened near I-15 and Blue Diamond Road around 5:30 p.m when pick-up truck crashed into an car. The driver of the pick-up fled the scene on foot, police said. The driver of the car was airlifted to University Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

Tropicana Avenue was closed to traffic Friday morning so the Clark County Fire Department could clean up a chlorine spill following a crash between a taxicab and pool company truck.

According the Metro Police, the crash occurred near Tropicana Avenue and El Capitan Way around 8:13 a.m. The cab driver was transported to University Medical Center in unknown condition.

Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving two cars along eastbound Summerlin Parkway at Rampart Boulevard.

According to troopers, the crash happened at around 4:11 p.m. Wednesday, when a black pickup truck crossed from the westbound lanes, over the center median and into eastbound traffic.

A crash involving an RTC bus sent a man to the hospital and knocked out traffic lights at a central Las Vegas intersection Wednesday morning.

Las Vegas police responded to the intersection of Eastern and Harmon avenues around 9:45 a.m., where they found a collision between an SUV and a Regional Transportation Commission bus.

The driver of the SUV was transported to Sunrise Hospital with minor injuries, officer Larry Hadfield said. He was unsure of injuries to bus riders.

One person is dead following an early morning crash near Warm Springs Road and Eastern Avenue. Both directions of Warm Springs were closed for five hours Friday morning as police investigated.

Metro Police say the single vehicle crashed occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. The male victim was transported to St. Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus, where he later died. Warm Springs is closed between Spencer Street and Burnham Avenue.

Western Avenue was closed to traffic in both directions near Sahara following a fatal crash Thursday involving a motorcycle and vehicle.

The crash happened around 2:10 p.m. According to Metro Police, the motorcyclist was speeding and doing a wheelie on the wrong side of the road.

The motorcyclist, later identified as Griffith Alexander Grossguth 28, was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Metro Police are investigating a three-car crash where one of the drivers was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. The driver was taken to University Medical Center where the person died, police said. According to police, the crash happened at Rainbow Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue at around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday. Police stated that they have not ruled out that the incident is related to road rage. They also say that two children were in the car with the victim. Westbound Tropicana Avenue is closed at Rainbow Boulevard while officers investigate the incident.

Nevada Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash Sunday morning on the southern 215 Beltway westbound at the Decatur Boulevard exit.

According to highway patrol, a black BMW rolled over several times and came to rest in a rock area by the Beltway just before 7 a.m.

Maurice Andreas Rucker, 32, died on the scene.

Witness statements indicated the man was driving recklessly, in excess of 100 mph, highway patrol said.

Highway patrol reopened the westbound ramp to Decatur at about 10:45 a.m., after closing it during the investigation and cleanup.
