Eleven vehicles were involved in a large wreck on Interstate 15 in Ogden, Utah. The incident resulted in some injuries, one severe, and the closure of the freeway for over an hour, according to authorities. The investigators said the 11 vehicles that were involved in the crash, nine of which had to be towed from the scene, appears to be caused by poor weather conditions. The most severe injured is a 25-year-old woman, who was a passenger of one of the vehicles, and taken to a hospital. There her current condition or identity has not been revealed at this time.
A Ford Freestar carrying six people rolled over in the southbound lanes of I-15 at mile marker 91 near Logandale at 6:20 p.m. Monday. A man and a woman were flown by Mercy Air to UMC Trauma, and four children were taken to UMC by ambulance. The woman's injuries may be life-threatening, according to NHP Officer Chelsea Stuenkel. The man's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. We'll update this story with any new details we receive.
