Charges are pending for suspected intoxicated driver who crashed into a Washington State Patrol vehicle, seriously injuring her passenger. A marked patrol vehicle, travelling westbound ahead of the Saturn spotted a driver going eastbound. Trooper Jeffrey Meldrum activated his emergency lights and performed a U-turn to pursue.
