Michael Osland died Tuesday from his injuries. His sister, 5-year-old Lauren Osland, died Sunday, the day of the crash. The children were passengers in a pick-up that was hit head-on by an SUV on U.S. 27 in Nicholasville. The driver of the truck, 28-year-old Rusty Johnson, and 51-year-old Robbie Chaffins, the driver of the SUV, both were deceased at the crash site. Another passenger in the truck, 33-year-old Rachel Osland, remained hospitalized.
A Nicholasville woman is dead tonight after a collision involving a telephone pole.
The crash happened around 2:00 p.m. Saturday on North KY 33 and Old Shakertown Road in Boyle County.
A witness tells police that an Oldsmobile was traveling southbound began to swerve and hit the pole.
The victim has been identified as Bonnie Wardrip, 37, of Nicholasville.
Wardrip was the only person in the car. She was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The crash is under investigation.
Six people, including three children, were killed and four were injured Thursday night after a station wagon traveling north on U.S. 27 in Nicholasville lost control, crossed the median and hit a van head-on, police said. Police say the driver of a car, which had four passengers, was headed north on US 27, somehow lost control, crossed the median, and hit another car.
