At around 8:55pm, Kaila Strucke and her father Jeremy Strucke were crossing the street when a truck hit Kaila, putting her into a coma. There is dispute between Jeremy Strucke and other witnesses, since Jeremy claims that he and Kaila had the right of way, while multiple other witnesses claim that the light was green for cars. Authorities have chosen to side with the other witnesses, so the truck driver will not be charged. As of now, Kaila is on life-support.
