Six people were injured, including a child who was ejected, in a rollover accident on Interstate 84 west of Meacham in northeast Oregon late Thursday.
Oregon State Police said that about 11:30 p.m., Beatriz Murillo, 38 of Salem, lost control of her 2003 Chevrolet Suburban on black ice while headed east on I-84. The vehicle rolled several times crossing through the median before coming to rest on the westbound shoulder.
Both lanes of westbound Interstate 84 are now open after five vehicles crashed Thursday afternoon.
The accident involved four vehicles and a semi truck. It happened near the Stage Stop, exit 71.
Idaho State Police say two people have been taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers on scene say the series of crashes happened as traffic was slowing for a lane reduction in place for an Idaho Transportation Department construction project.
A teen from Idaho was killed after getting ejected from a pickup truck in a two-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 84 near Ontario early Sunday morning, police said.
Just before 2 a.m., the 17-year-old boy was passing a car on the right side in eastbound lanes of the interstate just west of the Idaho border, according to the Oregon State Police.
