Lester Albarado, 51, and Gabriel Plaisance, 57, killed in head-on car collision on Louisiana 70 in Pierre Part, Louisiana

A two-vehicle head-on collision in Pierre Part early Sunday killed both drivers.  A 1993 Toyota Tacoma driven by Lester Albarado, 51, of Pierre Part, failed to manage a curve on Louisiana 70 before 6:30 a.m. He crossed the center line and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by Gabriel Plaisance, 57, of Pierre Part. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt, according to authorities. Toxicology tests are pending for both drivers. The crash is under investigation.
