Head-on crash in Pierre Part claims lives of two drivers early Sunday

Investigators pointed out that state law requires all occupants of vehicles to be properly restrained, including those in the back seats.
A two-vehicle head-on collision in Pierre Part early Sunday killed both drivers.  A 1993 Toyota Tacoma driven by Lester Albarado, 51, of Pierre Part, failed to manage a curve on Louisiana 70 before 6:30 a.m. He crossed the center line and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado driven by Gabriel Plaisance, 57, of Pierre Part.
