Honolulu, HIJose Vasquez Jr. and a 22-year-old passenger were riding it high speed on Old Haleakala Highway when Vasquez lost control of the vehicle and it rolled. Vasquez was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. The passenger suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt. The crash occured around 7:30 p.m.

Honolulu, HIA man was killed Monday night in a paragliding accident on Maui.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Haleakala Crater Road.
Fire crews say the 34-year-old man later identified as Paul MacDonald of Haiku, was dead when they arrived at the scene.
Maui police are investigating.
