A man was ejected from his motorcycle Saturday after making contact with a Freightliner truck in northwest suburban Richmond.

The incident happened at 5:18 p.m. in the 3900 block of U.S. Route 12, according to a statement from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office. The Freightliner was heading eastbound when it was struck by a motorcycle travelling westbound, police said.
