A woman will be arrested and charged with causing a fatal wrong-way collision on Interstate 65 in Nashville. Michael Campbell, 41, of Brownsville, Kentucky, died his Chevrolet Corvette was struck by a Cadillac Escalade on Saturday evening. The Escalade driver Delois Beasley, 38, was traveling the wrong way in the northbound lanes of I-65. Beasley and a passenger in the Corvette, Terry Anderson, 32, were hospitalized with serious injuries. Police say Beasley told authorities that she had consumed "way too much" alcohol.

A Montgomery woman died early Saturday morning in a head-on collision on Interstate 65 in Homewood, Alabama. The woman is 43-year-old Alice Denise Stinson. Authorities said the collision involved three vehicles. The crash occurred at 4:50 a.m. on I-65 southbound. Stinson was traveling southbound when she collided head on with a vehicle going the wrong direction. Stinson was pronounced deceased at the crash scene. The driver of the vehicle going the wrong way was transported to UAB Hospital. His condition wasn't available at the time of this report.
