One school bus driver died and 8 students were injured in a collision between two school buses early Tuesday morning. A Monroe Transportation bus carrying eight students and one bus monitor sideswiped a First Student Transportation bus before crashing into a tree on Hudson Avenue near Avenue D in Rochester. A medical issue may have been a factor. Streets in the area have been temporarily closed so drivers are asked to avoid the area. The unidentified bus driver was deceased at the crash site.
