Birmingham, ALThe accident happened at approximately 4:21 a.m. Sunday on northbound I-59 just south of the 4th Avenue South exit. Both men who died were from the same vehicle, and others were brought to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The deceased have been identified as Juan Alonzo Ramos, 30, and Tomas Pu-Gabriel, 25.

New Orleans, LAThe victim is identified as Angela Monique James, 42, who died from traumatic head injury. He says she was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver, 37-year-old Aisha Howard was transported to Forrest General Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Howard's vehicle exited Interstate 59 around 1 p.m. Monday and crashed into a tree. He says the vehicle rolled over and James was ejected and was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
