A woman was driving southbound on Newport Highway when she passed out, went over the median, and struck some road signs and a tree before slamming into a Wendy's fast food restaurant. The woman was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. The Wendy's was recently remodeled and had had its grand reopening over that weekend. The building will now have to be closed until it can be repaired.

Spokane Wastewater Management truck ran over a pile of clothing and blankets on the roadside at South Geiger Boulevard and South Lewis Street about 7:00am, where a woman was unfortunately sleeping. The driver of an SUV, who is yet to be named by the Washington State Patrol, was allegedly driving while intoxicated when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled over several times along US Highway 395, south of Hatch Road in Spokane, Washington late Monday night. He was taken to the hospital although the extent of his injuries is not yet known. Highway 395 has now reopened after being closed for about an hour due to the accident.

The pilot of a small airplane, identified as Michael Clements, 61, was critically injured Sunday when the single-engine Piper Malibu crashed east of downtown Spokane.The plane lost power a short time after takeoff, hit the top of a BNSF railroad viaduct, and crashed. The private plane, registered with an owner in Alberta, had taken off from Felts Field bound for Stockton, California. It went down about 1:30 p.m. just north of East Sprague Avenue at North Erie Street, near the Hamilton Street bridge over the Spokane River.

Police report that a driver who drove his pickup into through the front of a medical marijuana dispensary Friday afternoon was not paying attention. The crash happened at the Northside Alternative Wellness Center, located in the 4800 block of North Market Street in Spokane, Washington. The truck took out the corner of the building and slammed into a parked vehicle in the process. Employee Katie Beaman said she had just taken a customer to the back of thestore when she heard a loud crash.

Two people are injured after a two-car crash in Spokane, Washington Saturday afternoon. The accident occured on Sprague Avenue when one car failed to yield to on-coming traffic, resulting in the accident. That person was sited for failure to yield. Police attempted to pull over a group of four speeding motorcyclists that consisted of Dailey, Scott R. Henry, 34, Ricky W. Jenks, 37, and one other person, but the group did not stop and sped up even further. Eventually Dailey lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle, sustaining critical injuries. Police report that he also showed signs of impairment and faces charges of driving under the influence.

Susan Quaschnik was involved in a hit and run crash and was not able to call for help because she has been battling throat cancer for years and did not have a voice box. The driver that caused the crash fled the scene and has not been identified, though the car is described as a four door, white Pontiac sedan with very dark tinted windows. Quaschnik was able to get help by texting her sister who was able to call 911. Quaschnik made it out alright but her car is no longer driveable.

Washington State Patrol says four cars were involved in the collision on the Division St. offramp of I-90 eastbound early Thursday morning. Everyone involved in the accident was wearing a seatbelt, and injuries were reportedly minor.

Two people were hospitalized following a three-car crash on Crestline and 57th around 7:45 a.m. in Spokane Thursday morning. Traffic was reduced traffic to one lane at the intersection, but both lanes should be open by 8:45 a.m. Police report that six people in total were involved in the accident, and everyone is in stable condition.
