There are few details on the crash itself, but so far it is known that a bus and car collided at the intersection N. Hamilton St. and E. Mission Ave with such force that a woman in the car was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated. She and the driver of the bus were both injured and taken to a hospital, though the extent of their injuries remains unknown. Check back for updates.

Just before 11pm Wednesday an RV and a Smart Car collided at the intersection of North Newport Highway and North Nevada Street near the Northside YMCA in Spokane. Both drivers claimed to have had a green light. Three people were involved, and all were brought to the local hospital with minor injuries. All three people involved in the crash were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

At around 10 p.m., Sharon Ferg of Spokane was southbound in a 1973 Dodge motor home on Highway 2 near Nevada Street when she tried to turn left and was struck by a northbound Nissan Versa driven by Roger Tracy of Elk. The RV tipped over onto its side. Ferg and her passenger, Aaron Kreitz, were taken to Providence Holy Family hospital, as were Roger Tracy and his passenger, Jenny Tracy. No information was available on their condition. All parties were wearing seatbelts. Ferg faces charges of driving with a suspended license and no insurance, according to Washingtn State Police.

A man was walking in a crosswalk in downtown Spokane when he was struck by a white SUV. Bystanders were able to provide aid to the man until paramedics arrived. He was transported to a local hospital and his current condition is unknown. Accident is still under investigation.

A driver hit a 10-year-old boy, then crashed into a fence near East Mission Avenue and North Cook Street around 7:30 a.m. Thursday in north Spokane. The boy suffered serious injuries and is currently in the hospital in critical condition. The driver is cooperating with investigators. While there was about a half inch of snow on the ground, it is unknown at this time if weather conditions were at play. The crash site is just a few blocks from Stevens Elementary.

At about 1:20pm a car struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Sprague Avenue and South Browne Street and left the scene, leaving the victim with serious injuries. Later on the driver returned to the scene and is now under questioning by investigators. Check back for more details on this accident.

Orlan W. Knuth, 35, and Joshua B. Lee, 31, were friends or neighbors who got into a verbal argument at a local bar. As Lee was walking down the shoulder of Highway 2, Knuth struck and killed him with his vehicle, though he claims that he didn't know he hit a person and thought he hit a mailbox post or guardrail. He has been booked into jail for vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.

A man was ejected several feet into the air from his vehicle when he collided with another car, but was fortunately only 500 feet away from a fire station when the crash occurred. The close proximity to emergency services was likely instrumental in saving the man's life, and though he was still injured, is expected to be okay. The two occupants of the other vehicle sustained only minor injuries.

Just before 5 a.m., a red Subaru crossed the center line on Trent Avenue at Barker Road and hit the tractor trailer head on. The Subaru driver sustained critical injuries, and the semi driver suffered minor ones. Check back for updates.
