Tuesday, February 10, 2015At about 8:00am, a PT cruiser driven by Brown with her mother Brooks as a passenger was struck head-on on Whaleyville Boulevard by a minivan. Both women were killed, and a man who was in the minivan sustained serious injuries. Investigation is ongoing, but it has been determined that the driver of the minivan is at fault for this collision.

Thursday, October 16, 2014After hitting a school bus in Suffolk, Virginia Thursday morning, the driver of a gray Nissan, identified as Travis Devone Copeland, 30, fled the scene on foot. The incident occured at the 2200 block of East Washington Street around 6:41 a.m. on October 16, 2014. No students were injured, however the female bus driver was taken to the Sentara Obici hospital to treat injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
