A bus driver, 62, and a 17-year-old student were killed and 12 other people were injured after a train vs. school bus crash on a gravel road about 5 miles east of Larimore, North Dakota Monday, January 5. The bus failed to yield to railroad crossing and crashed with a freight train Monday afternoon about 100 miles north of Fargo. The bus was carrying students from the Larimore Public School District. The train was carrying no cargo, and the two BNSF crew members on the train were not injured in the crash.
