Anchorage, AKA 17-year-old was driving a truck on Knik Goose Bay Road when a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Simon Reutov crossed into the wrong lane and struck him. The teen was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries described as serious. Reutov is being charged with DUI, third-degree assault, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and reckless driving.

Anchorage, AKGunar L. Cruikshank was riding a dirt bike at the intersection of Red Birch Drive and Overby Street when the vehicle collided with an SUV driven by 16-year-old Ryan Hanson. Cruikshank was wearing a helmet and was transported to a hospital for treatment. He was reported in fair condition the next morning. The accident is still under investigation.
